Nihonbashi is a town of ancient customs and modern innovations, where you can experience amix of traditional culture and contemporary lifestyles in Tokyo.
In this program, immerse yourself in Japanese culture and traditions as you stroll through Nihonbashi. Includes a visit to a local Shinto shrine, hands-on activities and stops at various shops inside the COREDO Muromachi shopping complex. Enjoy eating a delicious lunch at the end of the tour. - 福徳神社 (Fukutoku Shrine)
This ancient shrine was first built over a thousand years ago and is famous for bringing good luck for lotteries. Learn about its history and the traditional way to pay respects at a shrine. Free time is available for taking pictures and purchasing fortunes and lucky amulets!

- 木屋 (Kiya)
This shop was established in Nihonbashi in 1792 and is famous as a high-quality cutlery brand providing knives and other kitchenware. See the variety of knives that Kiya has to offer, and learn how to sharpen them in the traditional manner as you watch a demonstration by a skilled professional.

- にんべん (Ninben)
Established in 1699, Ninben is famous for supplying Nihonbashi with delicious soup broth for generations. They specialize in katsuobushi, or dried bonito, which is used for making the popular bonito flakes. Try a sample of their soup broth and learn the technique for shaving bonito flakes yourself!

- 鶴屋吉信 (Tsuruya Yoshinobu)
A Japanese confectionary shop originally founded in Kyoto in 1803. This shop is famous for its counter space, where you can watch as the sweets are made right before your eyes by a confectioner. Try a sample of some sweets and see the many seasonal varieties the shop has to offer.

- 箸長 (Hashicho)
In this shop, high-quality chopsticks are gathered from all across Japan, where they are handmade by craftsmen from natural wood, Japanese lacquer, and other materials. Here you can see rare and unique chopsticks, find a personalized pair just for you, and practice your chopsticks skills with a fun game.

A Japanese restaurant famous for its delicious rice dishes. The rice is delivered from select locations across Japan and cooked until soft and fluffy in an earthen pot.
Lunch menu: Three-variety Appetizer Plate, Small Salad, Tempura, Sashimi, Grilled Fish, Pot-cooked Rice, Miso Soup, Fruit. Includes one drink

A restaurant specializing in kushiage, or deep fried skewered meat and vegetables. Kushiage began in the Edo period and is a popular food, especially in Osaka. KUSHI TEI uses only seasonal ingredients to provide the best tastes the season has to offer.

- Beer Cafe Brugse Zot
A Belgian beer restaurant that received certification from De Halve Maan, a Belgian beer brewery that has over 450 years of history. Enjoy the casual atmosphere and relax with a few drinks!
Lunch menu: Appetizer, Soup, Beer Stewed Beef, Bread, 2 Belgian Beers

- Zakuro (Additional Fee 1,000 yen)
The highly popular shabu-shabu is a Japanese hot pot dish consisting of thinly-sliced beef. Zakuro offers traditional Japanese cuisine using premium wagyu beef and only the freshest ingredients for their shabu-shabu.
Lunch menu: Tomato Salad, Japanese Beef, Vegetables, Rice, Pickles, Sherbet

- Sakuragawa (Additional Fee 3,000 yen)
An authentic kaiseki restaurant that received a Michelin star, and prides itself on its premium ingredients and professionalism. This elaborate multi-course meal was traditionally served to guests before a tea ceremony.
